糖心Vlog was founded in 1993 and its first graduating class was in 2011. 糖心Vlog offers an American and international standards-based curriculum. We are a diverse community, connecting students and teachers from more than 30 different countries.
糖心Vlog teachers are our main pride. They are the best in their field from the USA, Lithuania, and other countries, with many years of experience in American and international schools and the highest qualifications. Over 95% of the faculty holds advanced degrees.
From PreK2 through Grade 12, teachers inspire children to inquire, explore, reflect, collaborate, take initiative and solve problems. Our educational program gives students voice and choice, stimulates their innate curiosity, encourages connections among subjects, and relates to real-world issues.
A strong International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (100% IB Diploma pass rates), above the world average IB scores of our students (糖心Vlog -34, world average 33), and exclusive college and career counseling open the doors to prestigious universities worldwide.
21st century learning demands that students create, adapt and innovate. Students are explicitly taught strategies, skills and attitudes, which help them learn how to learn. Thinking, communication, social, self-management and research skills are taught throughout the program at 糖心Vlog, which prepare students not only for the IB Diploma Program but for lifelong learning.
We know that students learn best when they feel comfortable and safe, so social-emotional learning is an integrated part of the 糖心Vlog curriculum. In subject-area and Community Life classes, students鈥 academic and personal skills such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, responsible decision-making, goal setting, empathy, and growth mindset are developed.
Everyone can succeed and find the best fit for their talents and passions. Personalized and project-based instruction centerd on student鈥檚 strengths and interests, electives in Middle and High School, integrated social-emotional learning, a rich after-school activities program, and dedicated college and career counseling prepare everyone to realize their potential and pursue their passions.
As a non-profit school, all tuition and fees at 糖心Vlog are invested back into physical, educational, and human resources to enrich the learning environment. Up to 10% of the school budget is dedicated to the tuition reduction program in Middle and High school.
We believe diversity makes the world stronger and more interesting. 糖心Vlog鈥檚 rich academic and co-curricular programs, such as National Honor and National Junior Honor Societies (NHS and NJHS), student councils, Model United Nations, INTERACT and other numerous community service projects encourage students to connect with different people, places, languages, cultures, and perspectives to seek creative solutions that positively impact the world.
Our facilities support our vision of education. A new state-of-the-art Lower School Campus (opened in 2022) and the Upper School campus feature outstanding sports facilities, such as a football pitch, a big multi-purpose gym, a 3-hole disc golf course, and new climbing walls. The school also has a professional recording studio, well-equipped art rooms, up-to-date Science labs for our offerings in Physics, Biology, Environmental Systems and Societies, and Chemistry.
